THE FIRM
METROSCAPE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION is the story of Architect Jacinth John A. Lazo who found his life's mission as he established 2004 a full service design and build company. Innovative and driven by passion for design excellence, he formed a lean and mean team and impressed clients, creating meaningful and impressive design solutions that enhance well-being, building and dressing structures at the right price and turning the projects over at a timely fashion.

No surprises. Right from the very beginning, we'll tell you how the whole process works, what to watch out for, how to avoid unnecessary expenses and how to maximize your money, time and ideas. And when something unexpected comes up, as it always does, we move only upon mutual agreement.

No miscommunication. We don't assume. We always clarify and update you every step of the way. No hard work for you. Toiling onsite will be on us and not on you. All you need to do is watch everything we agreed upon unfold before your eyes.
No materials below specifications. The Bill of Materials says it all. Whatever was written, we'll deliver. If an item is unavailable, be sure well offer you something of the same quality and price range.
No short-cuts. Sure, we find ways to do more for less, like all smart entrepreneurs and professionals do. But compromising on details that affect the integrity of the design and quality of work or working around the safety building requirements is a big no-no for us. We built to last.
No breaking of commitments. We are an honorable team that is known to be different in this industry by simply doing what we say we're going to do for you. Whether it's being on time for meetings, responding to your reasonable S.O.S. calls or finding that Mt. Vernon Buffet Lamp is polished nickel for your study table, whatever we promised...outside of serious complications or an act of God... we'll do it.
PHILOSOPHY
How do we come out with successful design?
It begins with the virtue of humility - that though we are armed with in depth technical knowledge, the process is not about `us' but about 'we.' This stance immediately opens our hearts and minds to listen, observe, clarify and experience the being of our clients. Using our knowledge of personalities, we understand their emotional needs, idiosyncrasies, and aspiration though they are left unspoken.
Prudence then tells us what to do, how to do it and when to do it. It guides us to intelligently and purposefully design beautiful spaces that can rouse positive emotions and reform behavior without compromising clients' allotted finances. Temperance also comes into play because designing is a tricky balancing act between exteriors and interiors, function and form, and needs and wants.
Justice is must. Giving what is due every client and supplier all the time, all the way is crucial. And the environment...how can we built while being friendly to nature? This, too, is a serious consideration.
Since it takes months to design and build, perseverance pushes us never to quit in finding holistic solutions. It reminds us that every design has a beginning and an end and the in between must be a memorable and delightful experience for our clients.
But what is most important of all is that we are driven by love. For, if created structures that awed man but did not have love that is patient and kind for clients and suppliers and love for the profession and nature that protects, trusts and hopes then we have gained nothing.
